Digitrace is a chart and publication correction service developed by Marine Press of Canada that collates all the digital and paper chart correction tracings as published by hydrographic offices in their weekly Notices to Mariners (NTMs), selects the ones that are relevant to each specific vessel, compresses them for efficiency, encrypts them for safety, distributes them electronically via email, and provides a systematic management framework to assure compliance and control.

Digitrace ensures that not only do vessels always have the updates they need, but that they are easy to find and apply. DigiTrace eliminates the time-consuming, laborious and tedious job of searching through all the NTMs looking for applicable corrections.

DigiTrace not only provides the corrections, but it also provides a systematic way to record that corrections have been applied, as well as a powerful search engine that allows the version history of the charts and publications onboard to be researched and verified. Digital List of Lights & Other Publications

The optional Digitrace List of Lights service provides the US Digital List of Lights in combination with an E-mail or CD update service.

Depending on vessel flag, etc., the Digitrace List of Lights satisfies the carriage requirements of SOLAS Chapter V, Regulations 2, 9 and 27.
